GLORY MACHINERY has completed the delivery and on-site installation of a customized strip edge trimming line for bi-metal blade production for Bichamp Cutting Technology (Hunan) Co., Ltd. The project covers equipment preparation, shipment, installation at the customer’s workshop and verification of the finished strip-edge profile.
Bichamp was founded in Changsha in 2003 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in January 2017 under stock code 002843. According to the company’s latest public information, its bimetal band saw blade sales rank first in China and among the top three globally. The line integrates coil handling, strip guidance, edge-processing modules and recoiling into one coordinated system. Its purpose is to support stable, continuous edge preparation while reducing manual handling between separate operations. Final process settings are determined from the customer’s strip material, incoming edge condition and required finished profile.
Equipment Shipment to Bichamp
Before dispatch, the machine sections were protected and secured for road transport. The following shipment photos show the main processing modules, coil-handling equipment and control enclosure being loaded for delivery to the customer.




On-Site Installation at the Customer’s Workshop
After delivery, the equipment was positioned and assembled at Bichamp’s production site. The installed layout combines the uncoiling section, strip guiding and edge-processing stations, operator control and recoiling section. This coordinated arrangement is designed to maintain stable strip travel through the processing area and support repeatable adjustment during production.




Why Controlled Strip Edge Finishing Matters
For precision strip applications, edge condition can affect downstream forming, joining, handling and product consistency. A dedicated automatic strip edge trimming machine for deburring, chamfering and round-edge finishing is designed to help manufacturers:
- remove burrs and sharp edge defects from both sides of the strip;
- produce a controlled chamfer or rounded edge profile where required;
- improve consistency compared with repeated manual edge treatment;
- coordinate strip guidance, edge processing and recoiling in a continuous line; and
- adjust the process according to material and final edge requirements.
